So, uh, here is the video, and some pictures, from Britney Spears‘ performance last night at the 2007 VMA’s. And I’m not really sure if “performance” is the right word, since that would insinuate she was actually trying. It was more like Britney walking around aimlessly on stage while kind-of-sort-of trying to lip-sync and showing off her still-not-quite-toned stomach.

Faith Hill is upset

So this video depicts Faith Hill getting upset with a female fan after she apparently grabbed her husband, Tim McGraw’s, balls. Or at least I’m assuming it was a female fan. This is what she said:

“Somebody needs to teach you some class, my friend. You don’t go grabbin’ somebody else’s — somebody’s husband’s balls, you understand me? That’s very disrespectful.”

The best part of it is that the band is still vamping and she’s swaying along to the music as if it’s all part of the show. I wonder if it’s become a regular thing at their concerts? I must say, it all seemed rather rehearsed.

Britney Spears is caring

In the above video, Britney Spears says the following to the paparazzi:

Hey baby, when are you going to get on a diet? Have you ever tried weight watchers, you fat fuck. Why don’t you run, you need to fuckin jog, you pussy. Yeah, run, run bitch.

I think it’s great that Britney is trying to get a message to the youth of America that diet & excercise is extremely important — even if she had to do it through a paparazzi video. All the kiddies need to realize is that they’ll end up just like her if they don’t, and I guarantee gym memberships will see an increase of 12-16 year olds signing up right away.

Hilary Duff performs on “Dancing With the Stars”

So, uh, here’s a video of Hilary Duff performing on “Dancing With the Stars”. And all I keep wondering when I watch this is who was paid off to allow her to “dance” like that on a show about dancing. It’s like having Britney Spears perform at a talent competition, or Cameron Diaz make an appearance on “America’s Next Top Model”.

John Stamos is drunk

John Stamos, better known to me and pretty much everyone else in the world as “Uncle Jesse” from Full House, went on an Australian TV show called “Mornings with Kerri-Ann Kennerley”, and proceeded to make an ass out of himself while promoting the show ER. Oh, by th way, he’s also on the show ER now. Who knew?

Stamos himself said he was suffering from crossing time zones in a short space of time. “I came from Greece, Cairo and Japan … and, for whatever reason, I am so jet-lagged here,” he said. This seemed unlikely, as Stamos had been in the country since Thursday.”

Um, I’m pretty sure jet-lag doesn’t make you sound like a drunken idiot… so what does? Oh wait, that’s right. Drinking too much.

So Paris Hilton was released from jail at 12:10am this morning, and of course the paparazzi were there to “welcome” her. You know, celebrities always say that the paparazzi have “no lives”, but it isn’t until situations like this where that actually makes sense. Of course, they were lucky that she was released so quickly this morning, but I guarantee that they all were ready to stake out the entire day waiting for her to come out. I wonder how many paparazzi photographers actually dreamed of working for a detective agency when they were younger.

So this is possibly the funniest music video ever. Plus the girl that plays Paris Hilton is 100x hotter than the real Paris. So it’s like two for the price of one. If only Paris Hilton’s real music could have been this good, she might have actually had a singing career.

Paris Hilton has changed. Except probably not.

Paris Hilton called Barbara Walters from jail yesterday for a brief conversation… although why you would call Barbara Walters of all people is beyond me. Anyway, you can watch the video to hear what she said, or just read the transcript:

The unusual conversation came about because Kathy Hilton, Paris’ mother, had phoned me, and while we were talking, Paris called on the other line. When she heard I was talking to her mother, she said she’d like to talk to me herself. She sounded tired but totally aware of what she was saying.

“How are you?” I asked.

Paris answered, “I’m hanging in there.” But she declared, “I feel as if I’m a different person. I’ve dropped my appeal. I don’t want to cause any more problems.” “I’m not the same person I was,” she said. “I used to act dumb. It was an act. I am 26 years old, and that act is no longer cute. It is not who I am, nor do I want to be that person for the young girls who looked up to me. I know now that I can make a difference, that I have the power to do that. I have been thinking that I want to do different things when I am out of here. I have become much more spiritual. God has given me this new chance.”

I asked what kinds of things she might want to do.

She said she would like to help in the fields of breast cancer — her grandmother had breast cancer — or multiple sclerosis. Her father’s mother suffers from that disease. She thought she might get toy companies to build a kind of Paris Hilton playhouse, where sick children might come, and the toy companies could donate toys.

I think this is just another example of how celebrities are treated so much better than anyone else in jail. I mean, who knew that Paris would be allowed to have visits with her publicist while she was in there? You’d think that such an elaborate load of bullshit would have taken weeks for Paris to learn. Then again, I guess since she wasn’t distracted by dick, she had nothing better to do than actually learn her lines.
