Gisele Bundchen is leaving Victoria’s Secret because they refuse to increase her salary. And when a model complains about their salary being increased, I assume they mean they want two stalks of celery a day instead of just one. But it turns out they actually make money. Lots of money. $5 million a year to be exact:
The Brazilian mannequin is giving up her wings as lead angel for the lingerie giant because it wouldn’t up her $5 million-a-year salary. Her sister, Patricia Bundchen, confirmed to Brazilian Web site Glamurana that contract talks had broken off. “Her demands were outrageous. She got a new lawyer who was unrealistic,” said a source. “Victoria’s Secret doesn’t care. They have five new hotter, younger girls debuting next year. And they won’t have to deal with any craziness.”
The fact that her own sister even agrees with their decision just proves how right it was of them to drop Gisele. My relationship with Gisele faded a long time ago, and let’s face it: everyone knows that the only reason they kept her on the first place was because I used my industry connections and charm to keep it that way.
