Lindsay Lohan revealed in a recent interview that she finds it difficult to stay sober in New York. Or at least, more difficult that in Los Angeles. And because the poor, poor celebrity is so, so lonely, she also hates sleeping alone:
I will say, though, that it’s so much harder to stay sober in New York. Though it’s hard in L.A. not to go out, it gets lonely. Being an actress is lonely, and I never want to be alone. I hate sleeping alone.
And I suppose we’ve now discovered the true reason behind Lindsay’s drunken whoreness. It’s not because she has no self-control. She’s simply a product of her surroundings. I mean, didn’t they do a study at Duke or Yale about how impossible it is to stay sober in New York? Oh wait, they didn’t? Well surely there was a psychiatric analysis that said living in Los Angeles makes you incapable of spending a night without screwing a couple random guys, right? No? Well shit, nevermind then.
