I didn’t even know she was dating someone? Who in the world is he? I have no clue. If you go by looks alone I feel she could do a lot better.

Jason Filyaw is my first cousin. Yeah, wow! What a shock. I guess you never know what could happen in someones life. I know this… 90% of the stuff on the web is not very accurate. I spoke with my aunt (Jason’s mom) and I just think it is real funny how things get circulated. I am actually a Christian preacher that runs a large addictions program in NC. Jason is a really nice guy. I think (if there is something going on) he could be better for her than some past flames. Plus, I don’t see anyone else reaching out to her. He has know her since 2003. He IS NOT an alcoholic, nor has he ever been in a California rehab. I have read many nasty posts from people that don’t even know Jason and because he is not among the rich elite, he must be a “bum” He probably lives in a more realistic world than anyone else she hangs around. Just a thought…..

I don’t think he looks THAT bad. Maybe that is just what people assume because he is dating her. Actually, for her I think it would be an improvement.

I will withhold judgment at this point in time. He doesn’t look like such a horrible person to me. Besides, how many times have the “gorgeous” people turned out to be pretty “ugly” personality-wise?

I agree with Patrick up there. Jason is a friend of mine (The necklace he is wearing in the pictures above was made by me) and he is a nice guy. He’s more realistic than most and the downright crap I have been reading about him all over the net is ridiculous. Someone had the gall to say that he would abuse her children if she let him meet them. What the feck? Just because he is a musician he is suddenly an abusive asshole or what? Some people need to get a life and quit worrying about shite like this. Honestly. As Jason would say, there is a war going on and we should be putting more effort to supporting our troops (Jason is a Marine BTW) and less on who is dating who.

yeah.. jason filyaw is an awesome person. i dont get why people trash talk him just because they either never seen him or because they dont like the way he looks. he’s a great musician and a really cool guy.

This isnt a story, Im 6 nmonths pregnant with elvis presley’s love child..pfft. I care about Britney as much as i care about Anna Nicole. And I care even less about who she is dating. It’s not that he’s ugly, it’s that he’s just the latest guy. Who cares?

Jason might be a really great guy. And, more power to him for that. He had to know, though, that by being linked in any way to Britney was only going to bring out the haters who will claim he is doing it for publicity. He is now a household name.
I wish them the best if this is for real. I just don’t think this is a good time for Britney to get involved. Doesn’t she need to work on herself first?

Only to laugh at how people are dogging someone they don’t even know. He’s my cousin. When you “google” Jay, he is everywhere. This just happen to be the first one I popped in on. Why wouldn’t I want to know what people are saying about a total lie in reference to a family member. If it was about someone else, I am certain I would not bother. Only taking up for my cousin. Last I checked, that’s not breaking any commandments. “Gossip” only occurs when someone is revealing the “true” life of someone to someone else. This stuff isn’t “gossip”, it’s lies! But I agree that Britney needs to work on herself. Of course, this is none of my business, and really, no one else’s either. I just find the automatic jumping all over Jason for no real good reason other than there is a rumor he is dating her is dumb.

Wow… I would have never thought that someone I dated in middle school & high School would now be dating Brit. I can say first hand that Jason is NOT GAY!! Also, I can say that him and his family are super nice people. Jason was very caring & giving as a boyfriend. Always writing cute love notes and leaving me sweet gifts in my locker. As far as a rocker.. Jason and his friends Gabe & Matt at the time were ALWAYS jammin in his house and I new he would be a Star someday. Like I said, I have not spoken to Jason in YEARS, but it hurts me to see all the negative stuff being said about him. If this is all true that J & B are a couple, Jason maybe the best thing that has ever happend to Brit & may save her life. To his family members that read this, please tell Jason I wish him the best!
