Simon Cowell had to visit a third-world country for some American-Idol-reach-out-to-the-needy thing they’re doing on the show. I don’t know much about it since I’ve never actually watched it, but I do know that Simon Cowell is bored out of his mind. This is probably the first and only time he’s ever been away from his luxury amenities for more than an hour at a time. Although I do find it rather humorous that his body language shows that he’d rather be closer to the sick children than Ryan Seacrest.
