Pirate of the Caribbean 2 is popular

So Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest opened last Friday and broke pretty much every opening weekend record in history. It brought in $132 million total, beating out Spider-Man’s opening record by $18 million. It earned $55.5 million it’s opening day (the biggest opening day ever), and it’s also the first movie to top $100 million in two days. Apparently people have an affinity for feminine pirates and computer animated squid-men.
